Born and raised in Kazakhstan, she came to the United States as an international student and built a highly successful career in Corporate America, earning six promotions in ten years and recognition for her analytical expertise, creative problem-solving, and ability to foster collaboration in even the most complex environments.
Throughout her corporate career, Aliya led teams of engineers and procurement specialists, oversaw a $2B annual budget, developed sourcing strategies, hired and trained top talent, negotiated multi-million-dollar supplier contracts, and navigated some of the fastest technology transitions of the past decade—including the shift from hard drives to solid-state storage. Her track record demonstrates the ability to deliver results at scale while driving organizational efficiency, innovation, and sustainable growth.

Bauer College of Business, earning a degree in Supply Chain Management and a certification in Strategic Sourcing. She is fluent in English, Kazakh, and Russian, and a graduate of Kazakhstan’s prestigious Physical-Mathematical Boarding High School, renowned for nurturing the nation’s brightest minds. While at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, she completed the Leadership Development Program and served on the Cy-Fair ISD Leadership Committee and Long-Range Planning Committee.
Aliya resides in Houston, TX with her husband Javier and their two kids, Alissa and Thiago. In her free time, Aliya enjoys spending time with her family, painting, and writing.
